Using broth instead of water for your rice helps to give your rice a nice protein boost. In a typical 100g of rice you will only find 2-3g of protein, but when adding our bone broth, you can give it a boost to 12g of protein

Make rice for all the family using our broth instead of water.
Ingredients
- 250g of basmati rice
- 400ml of boiling water
- 2-3 teaspoons of dehydrated beef broth

Instructions
- Pour out 400ml of hot water into a jug
- Add in 2-3 teaspoons of our dehydrated beef broth, stir well with a fork.
- Add to a saucepan and turn the heat on high and bring to the boil.
- In the meantime, wash 250g of basmati rice under the tap and in a sieve.
- Then add your washed rice to the boiling broth.
- Turn down the heat, stir the rice into the water and cover with a lid leaving a slight gap to allow the steam to escape a little.
- Regularly stir the rice in the broth.
- After 8 minutes, all the broth should have been absorbed by the rice. Periodically check, as sometimes the broth can be absorbed quicker. Avoid burning on the bottom, by stirring regularly.
- Add to a bowl and serve with a meal or on it’s own.
