Green Juice with Bone Broth

Green Juice with Bone Broth

Looking for a refreshing way to enjoy bone broth during warmer weather? This green juice combines fresh vegetables, fruit and a spoonful of dehydrated bone broth to create a naturally protein-rich drink that's perfect for breakfast, after exercise or as part of a balanced diet.

Unlike traditional fruit juices, this recipe contains plenty of fresh greens alongside the natural savoury flavour of bone broth, creating a drink that's both refreshing and satisfying.

Why Add Bone Broth to Green Juice?

Adding a small amount of dehydrated bone broth is an easy way to increase the protein content of homemade juices without changing the flavour dramatically.

Bone broth also blends surprisingly well with green vegetables, creating a balanced drink that's less sweet than many commercial smoothies.

  • 2 celery sticks
  • 2 large handfuls spinach
  • 1 green apple
  • 1 kiwi

Frequently Asked Questions

Does bone broth work in smoothies?

Yes. Dehydrated bone broth mixes easily into smoothies and juices, adding protein with only a mild savoury flavour.

Which bone broth is best?

A dehydrated bone broth powder blends much more easily than liquid broth and won't dilute the drink.

Can I prepare it in advance?

It's best enjoyed fresh, although it can be stored in the fridge for up to 24 hours.

Can I freeze it?

Yes. Freeze in portions and blend again after thawing if needed.
