Tallow skincare has been used for generations, long before modern cosmetic formulations became commonplace. Made from carefully prepared animal fat, tallow has been valued for centuries as a simple ingredient in traditional skincare and soap making. Today, many people are rediscovering tallow as part of a return to simple ingredients and traditional craftsmanship.

At the British Broth Company, our tallow is naturally produced during our bone broth-making process. As our broths slowly simmer in our Dorset factory, the natural fat rises to the surface where it is carefully collected and prepared. By making full use of every batch, we reduce waste while creating another traditional product from the same ingredients we use to make our broths.

Our tallow skincare products are handcrafted in small batches using carefully selected ingredients and simple formulations. We believe in creating products with transparency, using ingredients you can recognise and traditional methods you can trust. Our range currently includes our handcrafted SPF sunscreen, with more tallow skincare products coming soon as we continue to expand our collection.
